Eligibility: The student and his/her parent must also obtain permission from the DPS prior to enrolling in the course by filling out and submitting DPS Form DL-92A, along with a $20 fee. Students who enroll in our course are NOT permitted to get behind the wheel of their car (as will be required with the start of Module 2 of the course) until they have received their learner license. Details: In the State of Texas, we are approved by the Department of Public Safety (DPS) as TeenDrivingCourse.com (DPS School #111) to offer PARENT TAUGHT DRIVER EDUCATION ("PTDE"). Final Exam: Students will have an unlimited number of attempts to score 85% or higher on the classroom final exam. Students must also pass a in-car driving test under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
